The hotel is a historic wooden hotel from the end of the 19th century, which was recently renovated in an old style. Between the 1870s and 1960s, Englishmen traveled here for salmon fishing in our beautiful surroundings. In addition to these so-called "salmon lords", royalty and several big names have also visited the hotel.
When you stay overnight on Sylte Hotel, you will feel like you have traveled back in time, but with full modern comfort. In our reception you will find an almost 100-year-old wall painting and on the living room you will find the king's table.
