All rooms with fjordview have been renovated in a nordic style, so you will find the hotel both modern and well kept traditional. It is renowned for its good, traditional food, prepared using local produce. In main season, vegetables and herbs are just rolled down the hill from a share farming.

Visit the farms along the Fruit- and Cider Route - the only one in Norway, and learn about and taste real Hardanger culture. Pay a visit to Olav H. Hauge-center, which is an activitybased exhibition presenting the life of the worldknown poet from Ulvik, in what was named the best museum in Norway in 2015.
